Board Certified

Board Certified

Many cases have aspects of civil law (lawsuits) and criminal law (law violations) that require adept knowledge of both areas.  Why is Board Certification important?

From The Florida Bar:

“Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of competency and experience within an area of law, and professionalism and ethics in practice. More than 4,400 Florida lawyers are recognized as specialists in one or more of 24 certification areas. Board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice.”

The Florida Bar states that over 100,000 lawyers practice in Florida and of those over 4,400 have the expertise to be certified in their practice area.

Marian Rush is Board Certified in City, County and Local Government Law.

Robert Rush is dual certified in Civil Trial and Criminal Trial, a distinction held by only four lawyers in the state.

Most of the big advertiser lawyers aren’t Board Certified.  Many don’t even go to trial… ever.
